Justin Timberlake jokingly apologizes to fans after awkward dances go viral

Justin Timberlake is the latest celebrity to go viral after a set of awkward dance moves made its rounds across the internet.

Pharrell’s “Something in the Water” music festival made its debut in Washington DC over the weekend, bringing in a variety of music artists including Tyler, the Creator, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, 6lack, J Balvin, Pusha T, Snoh Aalegra, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

One set that stood out among the rest was Saturday night’s headlining performance featuring Pharrell and a few of his famous friends. During Pharrell’s set, Justin Timberlake made a guest appearance where he performed some of his greatest hits produced by the festival host, along with some awkward dance moves.

Joining in on the joke himself, Justin Timberlake took to Instagram and jokingly apologized for his awkward dance routine.

“D.C., I want to apologize to you for two reasons: here and here,” he said in his Instagram story, zooming in on his feet. “I had a long talk with both of them, individually, and said, ‘Don’t you ever do that to me again.’”

Timberlake attributed his dance moves to his khaki pants.

“Maybe it was the khakis,” he said. “It was a real khaki vibe.”

“I’m going to focus on these two guys right here and get them right,” he added with a smile. “Love y’all.”

Along with his apology, Justin Timberlake also shared a few TikTok memes of his dance moves.
